12 Days of Easter Eggs and the Week of Easter

We received a delightful gift this year of the 12 Days of Easter. Each day the children are excited to open and read the Scripture about that day telling the story of our Savior's Crucifixion and Resurrection.

1. Matthew 26:26-27,39 (sacrament cup or small cracker or chex cereal)
2. Matthew 26: 48-49 (chocolate kiss)
3. Matthew 26: 14-15 (3 dimes) [This fulfilled the prophecy in Zechariah 11:12-14.]
4. Matthew 27:1-2 (knotted twine)
5. Matthew 27:15, 17, 21, 24-26 (chunk of hand soap)
6. Matthew 27:28-30 or Mark 15:16-17 (square of red or purple fabric)
7. Matthew 27:31-32 (small nail or toothpick cross)
8. Matthew 27:50-51, 54 (crushed rocks)
9. Matthew 27:57-60 (strip of white cloth)
10. Matthew 27:60, 62-66 (a small, flat stone)
11. Mark 16:1, 2-6 (bay leaf or other herb)
12. Matthew 28:5-6 (empty)

If you want to just copy and paste the Scriptures you can do so at, cut into strips and put into eggs.

Easter Week Quite Book

In the Friend Magazine this month they had a Count Down to Easter with each day leading up to the Resurrection. I Copied the text and put it into a 3x5 text box in Word and Printed them out. Then I down loaded the Gospel Art Kit Pictures ( 212 213 223 227 230 232 239) When I uploaded the pictures(to Costco) you have to watch the  "Crop" warning and crop them all in Portrait (you will lose some of the pictures but they will look nice)
I did have to copy two of the pictures off the Internet. The first day "Jesus walked to Bethany" and "He is Risen"  i googled them that is my copy right disclosure;)

We love ours. It is so neat to actually think back and relive the week the Savior had prior to his crucifiction. Thank you!
